Bimu reimagines the modular shelving systems of industrial environments and adapts them to the needs of contemporary office spaces. By distilling the concept to its essential elements, Bimu finds beauty in functionality — offering a structure that is both versatile and visually refined. Built entirely from aluminum, and equipped with carefully designed accessories, Bimu supports both collaborative and focused modes of work, transforming open-plan areas into comfortable, efficient environments.

Designed as an open pergola, Bimu requires no integrated electrification or climate control, instead relying on the surrounding environment. Its modular system is available in four configurations —3×3, 2×2, 2×1, and 3×1— based on an 80×80 mm aluminum frame.

Each side of the pergola can be customized with a variety of finishes, including textiles, round metal slats, board slats, screen fabric, melamine panels, Zenit, or Luxe. These elements help define the visual and functional identity of each unit while adapting to different interior and exterior applications.

Because of its aluminum construction and the use of materials like screen fabric and slatted panels, Bimu can also be installed outdoors. An optional screen ceiling offers solar protection without compromising light or openness.

Additional features include height-adjustable hanging accessories that can be repositioned without tools, thanks to a simple metal anchoring system. Lighting is provided by movable-arm lamps, available in L and XL sizes, which can illuminate individual or multiple connected pergolas as needed.
